You will never know when your chickens will need emergency medical attention, so it is best for you to be prepared in advance. It is important to have or get all of the following items just in case.

• Providone Iodine
• Poultry Nutri-Drench
• Wazine 17-Poultry, turkey and Swine Wormer
• Rooster Booster
• Permectrin
• Gauze Pads
• Vetwrap
• Super Glue
• Scissors
• Tweezers
• Antibiotic Ointment (NO Pain Killers)
• Terra-Vet 10 Antibiotic Powder
• Vitamins & Electrolytes (Like Rooster Booster®)
• Old Towels
• Dremmel
• Wooden Popsicle Sticks
• Small Flashlight
• Leg Bands/Spirals/Bandettes

 -Make sure to also have a re-coop center for your chickens so they can recover safely and keep from spreading disease to the other members of your flock.-

Lucille, (a new member of our flock) is put in the "holding center" for a couple weeks to prevent spreading any unwanted viruses from her old home to ours.
